Courses that are accepted by other colleges and universities are considered transfer-level. 大部分入门级英语, 数学, 和统计数据 transfer-level courses have prerequisites that are equivalent to high school-level coursework. The placement process uses information from your application to determine which prerequisites you have already met and which courses are available as a result. 一旦你的安置完成, you may enroll in corresponding courses that are required for your major.

Your counselor can help you determine which courses are required for your major and how to plan your enrollment in them. And your instructors can help you succeed in them once the term begins. Each of the following links will take you to the corresponding college’s placement website. There you will find information about the specific courses and types of support available at each placement level.

If you graduated from a regionally accredited US high school or earned a GED or California High School Equivalency Certificate, your initial English placement is based on your high school grade point aver年龄 (GPA) as follows:
